Paper Reader

Terms of service

The agreement between you and ZENOVA INNOVATION LABS PRIVATE LIMITED when you use Paper Reader. Using the service means accepting these terms.

What the service is

Paper Reader lets you upload a research paper, select a passage, and ask an AI model about it. Answers stay pinned to the passage they are about.

Your account

Accounts are created by signing in with Google. One account per person. You are responsible for what happens under your account, and for having the right to upload whatever you upload — a paper you may read is not always a paper you may put on someone else's server.

Credit and charging

Answers are generated, and can be wrong

Answers come from an AI language model. They can be confidently, fluently incorrect. They are not checked by a person before you see them.

Nothing here is professional advice. That matters most for exactly the readers this tool is built for: an answer about a medical paper is not a medical opinion, an answer about a legal or financial paper is not legal or financial advice, and none of it should be relied on for a decision that affects anyone's health, money or rights. Check the paper.

Acceptable use

Do not use the service to break the law, to infringe copyright, to upload someone else's personal data, or to attack, overload or reverse-engineer it. We may suspend an account doing any of those, and will refund unused credit if we do.

Availability and liability

This is a small service run by a small company. It is provided as it is, with no guarantee of uptime, and it may change or stop. We will give notice before stopping it for good, and refund unused credit.

To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for anything arising out of the service is limited to what you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We do not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Changes and governing law

We may change these terms; the version on this page is the one that applies. Material changes will be announced in the reader before they take effect.

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have exclusive jurisdiction.
